Quantum UltraZinc 117 EDTA

Quantum® UltraZinc 117 EDTA

The most concentrated EDTA chelated zinc micronutrient fertilizer. Used for preventing and eliminating zinc deficiency. Has excellent compatibility with liquid starter fertilizers and complex tank mixes thanks to EXTRA-chelation technology.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES:

Element% (w/w)g/L
Zn9%117 g/L
Characteristics
pH5.5–7.5
Density1.28–1.35 kg/L

Zn cations chelated with EDTA.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Complete chelation protects and preserves nutrients, preventing them from reacting and binding with other elements in soil and other fertilizers.
  • 100% chelated trace element form for maximum stability and efficacy.
  • Excellent compatibility with liquid starter fertilizers (orthophosphates) and other highly concentrated fertilizers, biostimulants and phytosanitary products in liquid form.
  • Approved for use with herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
  • More efficient than other nutrient forms; up to 6 times more available than non-chelated nutrients.

ACTION AND EFFECT:

  • Highly efficient preparation for prevention and supply of plant tissues with zinc.
  • During product application: zinc is easily and rapidly absorbed; rapid normalization of plant metabolism occurs, pollination improves; hormonal balance improves, auxin and vitamin synthesis is stimulated; carbohydrates are accumulated and transported; plant respiration is optimized; sugar content in fruits and grains increases; plant resistance to unfavorable growing conditions increases.

SEED TREATMENT.

Application rate: 1–2 liters per ton of cereal, legume, industrial and vegetable seeds.

SOIL APPLICATION (IN-FURROW® TECHNOLOGY).

Quantum® UltraZinc 117 can be used together with Quantum® Diafan liquid start fertilizer at a rate of 1–3 L/ha.

FERTIGATION.

The preparation is efficient for plant fertigation by drip irrigation. Preparation concentration during fertigation is 100 ml per 1 m³ of water.

EXTRA CHELATE TECHNOLOGY.

Intensive technologies require complex tank mixes when preparing solutions for foliar nutrition, seed treatment, IN-FURROW® application or fertigation. Extra Chelate technology protects trace elements from interaction with other fertilizers, biostimulants and crop protection products in tank mixes or in soil, across a wide pH range.

NOTE.

When zinc deficiency is detected through visual diagnosis or tissue testing, apply Quantum® UltraZinc 117 every 7–10 days to all crops (especially horticultural and vegetable crops). For best results, apply in a mix with other fertilizers according to crop needs. Quantum® UltraZinc 117 is compatible with herbicides, insecticides and most agricultural chemical products that can be used with liquid fertilizer. However, if the desired combination has not been used previously, a compatibility test (Jar test) is recommended.
